The latest installment of the International Email Audio Art Project is online for free download from today. As with previous editions Volume 7 consists of 60 one minute pieces by various artists from all over the world. My contribution is Track 54, a field recording I made last August in Poole Park, Dorset.
Today I got some promotional prints made to advertise the new batch of releases on my label Dirty Demos. Included is a bunch of small and large flyers which I designed a few weeks ago, plus some cotton bags featuring the label logo.
This week I finally got round to contributing to the International Email Audio Art Project, curated by the legend that is Hal McGee. Each Volume is a compilation of 60 one minute pieces, which are available for free download. Hal started compiling first volume late October 2010, and is already on Volume 6 which he unleashed today. Track 43 is my contribution in the form of Dead Wood - Rule of Thumb.
Furthering my recent interest in minimal moving picture work, this year I've decided to have a go at creating some footage myself. Here is my very first attempt, a piece to accompany a new jam I recorded titled Halfway.
