Vejgaard Ambient / Andrew Perry/Dead Wood - Split cassette

For several years now I've been meeting up for improv jams with my good buddy Andrew Perry. A few years back we had a album out on Striate Cortex and I also released a lathe cut 7" on Dirty Demos. This month we have a new release on Copenhagen based label A Beard Of Snails, a split c58 cassette with Vejgaard Ambient. Our side of the tape is titled Peter Schmeichel's Excitable Tricycle and features 8 tracks recorded at my old house in Blandford Forum and the garden shed in Wareham. Here's the label's description for an idea of how it sounds: "Here be fearless(ly) prepared guitar, drone/doom filth, and creeping curiousities. Ominous excursions and odd jaunts - devoid of beats and melody, but exceptionally "dream(y), baby, dream(y.)"
Edition of 52, available now from A Beard of Snails store.

S.C.FREE

S.C.FREE is a compilation CDR released this week on the Striate Cortex label. Designed to promote artists on the label; past, present and future. Edition of 50 which will be given away for free. This features a short Dead Wood track I made last month. Straying from recent visited territories, on this day I opted for some bass heavy minimal rhythm/beats. Also featured on the compilation is Tim Newman, Mark Bradley, Sindre Bjerga, Motherovgod, Jan-M Iversen, Phantom Heron Seas, Le Cose Bianche, Daniel Thomas and Small Things On Sunday. Available now from Striate Cortex.

Moving

I'm moving from Dorset to Edinburgh next month and have to condense all the noise making gear I've horded over the years. This year I've played 8 shows with this road sign and we had the best time together. Goodbye old friend.

Knifedoutofexistence / Dead Wood - God Loves His World And All The Creatures In It

Over the past six months I've been doing some recording with my good friend Dean, Knifedoutofexistence. Out now on Amps Against Trend is a double floppy disk pack titled God Loves His World And All The Creatures In It. Two 90 second blasts of noise, outsider electronix and screaming, all recorded in the garden shed at the house where I live in Dorset. Edition of 40 copies, available now from the Amps Against Trend Store.

Leamington
